A species of Alocasia (Taro) plants, this is an easy-to-care-for green plant. It does well in well-lit rooms or a shaded balcony, but not in strong direct sunlight. It is forgiving if you forget to water it from time to time since it should dry out a bit between waterings. (There are more than 80 species and varieties of this plant. Actual species or variety may vary.)
