1. Products
The pictures and descriptions on this website and any other promotional material are meant as examples only. Please keep in mind that all floral products have some degree of variability relating to season, etc. Where a specific type of flower is specified in a description or in an order request, we will make a reasonable effort to provide that type of flower or plant. However, in some cases substitutions may be necessary. When substitution of a primary flower in the arrangement is required we will notify you of the change when conditions, including time considerations, permit. Where time is limited, we will use our judgment whether to seek approval for a change if it means delaying the order. The best way to ensure that your order is delivered on time and includes the specific type of flowers requested is to give us as much advanced notice as possible when ordering or making changes.
Some products, particularly small trees, orchids, and certain seasonal flowers require advance notification. When this is the case, the special considerations will be noted in the confirmation e-mail.
In order to provide the longest possible period of enjoyment, some products will be delivered in a budding stage.
Please note that some products may pose a danger to children or pets. For example lilies are very toxic to cats. Please take this into consideration when ordering or sending arrangements. Avignon Florist is not responsible for any death, injury, or damage related to products.
2. Prices
Prices are subject to change without notice. Once an order is confirmed, the price will not change.
Prices do not include delivery fees. Delivery fees depend on the area. See our delivery fee policy here.
Prices include tax. You purchases are considered to have been made in Taiwan and as such are subject to any taxes and laws in Taiwan. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to report and pay any additional taxes related to the purchaser’s home jurisdiction.
3. Delivery
Delivery is subject to accurate address and contact information. Please be aware that addresses in Chinese can be confusing due to the fact that there are many different ways of Romanizing the Chinese characters. The best way to ensure that we can find the address is to do a Google map search and make sure that it appears to be in roughly the correct place. Most problems with addresses can be avoided by providing a contact phone number of the recipient.
We will attempt to deliver orders as close as possible to the time requested. However, we make no guarantee of delivery at a specific time. The earlier you place your order, the more likely it is to be delivered at the requested time.
We require 48 hours notice before the requested delivery time. (Orders to be delivered on Monday should be ordered before close of business on Saturday, Taiwan time.) We will do our best to fill orders on shorter notice, but provide no guarantee. For rush orders, we suggest you call us directly at +886 (2)8792-6740 prior to placing your order. (Please note that Taiwan time is GMT +8)
Where specific delivery time is absolutely required as a condition of the order, such as for funeral arrangements, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice or confirmation of the order prior to making it. In this case, please contact us directly by phone at +886 (2)8792-6740 or by email BEFORE placing the order on the website. When planning orders, please remember that Taiwan is one day ahead of many regions.
4.Ordering and Payment
By clicking the “place your order” button, you agree to these terms.
Upon placing your order, you will receive an automatically generated email indicating that our system has recorded your order and payment. As soon as possible after we review your order,we will issue a personal confirmation email for each order. No order is considered complete until we have issued this personal email confirming our acceptance of the order. Circumstances that may lead to non-acceptance include: not enough time, address outside our delivery area, or insufficient or unavailable stock. If you have any questions, please call or email us before placing your order.
5. Payment in full is required prior to delivery.
The security of your payment information is of the utmost concern for us. When you place an order through the Avignon Florist website, you will be directed to PayPal.com to enter your payment information. PayPal is an online payment gateway that is devoted to providing a safe platform for online payments. For this reason, they can ensure the security of your payment information far better than we can. We do not and cannot see your payment information, unless you provide it to us directly instead of purchasing through the website. 6. Cancellations and Amendments
All orders require at least 48 hours notice for cancellation.
In order to provide you the freshest possible flowers, we control our stock very carefully. This means that we buy fresh flowers based on the orders received and expected. Where we incur a cost due to special items that have been ordered, we reserve the right to deduct that cost of some portion thereof from any refund regardless of the time of cancellation.
All cancellations will have a 4% financial fee deducted from the refund to cover the cost our provider charges for processing the sale.
7. Disclaimer
Our liability is limited to the cost of the product ordered. We accept no other liability, including but not limited to: angry wives or girlfriends, loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, or other consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.
8. General Conditions
We may make changes to this policy at any time. If we make changes, we will post notice of the changes on the website. Changes will take effect 3 hours after posting.
We reserve the right to restrict access to any and all parties at any time.
We will not share data collected from you with any third party, except where necessary to process your order, or where required by a valid court order. (For example, when we are very busy or a special vehicle is required, we partner with a courier to make deliveries.) In this case, only the information necessary for processing your order will be shared. As noted above, your payment information is collected by PayPal.com, not by us. Any information you provide us, with the exception of payment information, may be retained in your membership profile. This includes contact information, order history, and recipient information.
